Is this the Nexus 6?
« on: September 29, 2014, 08:42:07 PM »
The above is a mockup done by AndroidPolice based on their view of the actual Nexus 6.

Earlier today the tech website 'androdpolice' put out a story they say reveals confirmed details of Google's next Nexus handset that has been rumored for quite some time due to a series of leaks.  The new phone will be made by Motorola and feature a 5.9 inch qhd display making it the largest Nexus phone yet and well into 'phablet' territory having a display even larger than the 5.7 inch Galaxy Note 4.  The Nexus 6 seems to hold no stops when it comes to specs which include a Snapdragon 805 processor, a 3200 mAh battery, 13 megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, 2mp front camera, front firing stereo speakers, an aluminum frame similar to the new 2nd generation Moto X of which this appears also to emulate it's form, just larger.  An additional nice touch is that the phone will be compatible with Motorola's turbo charger which should give 8 hours of power for just 15 minutes of charging.  Of course nothing will be 100% confirmed until the Nexus 6 is actually introduced...which we expect in the next two weeks or so with dates of October 15th or 16th being mentioned by some.  So what do you think?  Are you excited about this monster of a Nexus phone?  Will you be buying one?  Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
