I preordered my nexus 6 through at&t and got it shortly after it officially released.
I was super disappointed when I saw that it was going to be a 6" phone, having gone from an iPhone 5 to the nexus 5 I figured that was as big as I wanted. Since I could get the 6 through at&t for an upgrade I figured I'd give it a go.
So now, after a month of having it, I couldn't be happier. The first thing I did when I got it was disable the encryption and it runs so smooth now. Since then I've gotten rid of the at&t logo on the back, the at&t startup animation and ringtones, and unlocked tethering (even though I don't really use it that much).
My only problem with it is that I personally would have preferred they keep it at 1920x1080 instead of 2560x1440. It looks nice but I don't know that its that big of a difference, and I think it makes the performance and battery life suffer more than its worth.
